This year, Allie's birthday fell on class picture day at Cedar Park Kids Day Out. So naturally she wanted to get dressed up and - thanks to the lovely Abbie Price for her donation of the dress - I only had to buy her a sparkly crown from the dollar store. Allie's birthday week is finally over! She had two class parties, one home party (presents and cake) and a whole week filled with "It's my birthday so I'm going to act like a brat". Now its over. We can all breathe.

The Book
I know I said I wouldn't talk about the book here, but I just wanted to remind you all that I WROTE A BOOK!!!! I crack myself up :) Anyhoo, I haven't been blogging here because I've been blogging over at http://www.kerineal.com/author. Ego was released on Monday and so far I've gotten tons of positive feedback. YAY!
The family is great, Stephen got a new job and is doing great, apartment life is still great, everyone's healthy. I think that just about covers it!

Keri Neal - Author Extraordinaire
OK not really :)But seriously, I did write a novella titled EGO. It's a mystery. And lo and behold Bradley Publishing loves it and wants to publish it. Yay me! The publisher designed the cover already. I know, I know... but this is the way it works and I had to let this cover go. I love what they did with it :)
I'll keep you all updated on it's progress over on my author's blog. I'm trying to keep the family news seperated from work news. So far I just know that it has a release date of April 2012. It's at the editor now so I'm expecting revisions of mass proportions :)
